On July 13th 2019, the first " belt & road initiative" of business decision simulation competition of international energy and power was successfully held in the administrative conference room of Shanghai University of Electric Power. Jia Xuedong, chairman of Shandong LNET, was invited to attend the competition and gave a speech.
The competition draw on nearly 50 teams. After selection, the students from about 10 countries including Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Vietnam, Zimbabwe, Morocco, Congo, Laos and China were built 9 teams to participate in the final competition.
When addressing the ceremony, Mr Jia Xuedong said that LNET had actively responded to the national economic development strategy since the implementation of the national "belt & road initiative" policy, and formed a new development mode of international joint-running school with the core of "peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning & mutual benefit" and advocated high-end drive and green development. Mr Jia Xuedong hoped that LNET could explore new models of international exchanges and cooperation with different countries’ enterprises through the contest of the and the business decision simulation competition, so as to realize the collaborative innovation and promote the development of science and technology and accomplish the advantages of "go globally" of electric power industry, and the companies and universities shall strengthen the connection and cooperation and actively carry out trade negotiation and expand overseas business to play the founction of bridge well. In the end, Mr Jia Xuedong wished the contestants from all over the world could achieve excellent results and the business decision simulation competition could be a complete success.
At present, LNET has operated and maintained a number of power station projects with multiple capacities in Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Philippines, Kyrgyzstan and other countries along the "belt & road initiative" route, and won unanimous praise from the owners and relevant parties for development of sound business. Under the guidance of national Belt & Road Initiative policy, LNET has been building much more international cooperation platforms on the basis of existing service projects to strengthen cooperation with Shanghai University of Electric Power and other universities and actively develop international electric power training business, so as to make a solid step forward for the company's international "double first-class initiative " electric power training development.
