TPI PP Project in Thailand Succeeds in Synchronization at Its First Trial
At 5:50 on 7th, April, 2018, TPI PP 150MW power plant whose operation and maintenance are taken charge by LNET succeeded in synchronization. At 20 o’clock on 5th, April, 2018, the boiler is ignited to increase temperature. At 12: 30 on 6th, April, the unit succeeded in maintain the constant speed at 3000rpm, and at 5:50 on 7th, April, the synchronization was realized at its first trial.
In June, 2017, LNET formally undertook the operation and maintenance of TPI PP project, Thailand. At the initial stage, LNET completed the site training and theory training both in Thailand and China for Thailand operators. In September, 2017, LNET’s operators and maintenance staffs entered the TPI PP project formally. During the implementation of the project, all personnel of the project department always adhere to the principle of working at the front line and completing the work with high standards, high quality, and high efficiency. At present, the unit is running smoothly and the tests are being carried out in an orderly manner. This successful synchronization provides good condition for the later commercial trial run of the unit. The project department will continue to work hard for follow-up work so that the project can achieve normal commercial operations as soon as possible.
